It only seems fair, seeing how Indyzign Creative is all about crazy sexy things, that we should pose the question, “How far do you want to go?” If it makes you a bit uncomfortable, that’s the plan!

In a recent post I looked at the DIY website craze. In all its various forms from drag and drop to cookie-cutter templates this seems like a good place to start answering the question, “How far do you want to go?”:

1.  I’m just not sure!

This is a normal response actually, so don’t feel to badly. We find it doesn’t take long for a sense of wanderlust to set in after toying around with a DIY site. It just doesn’t seem to be a good fit for most businesses, at least not in the long run.

2.  I’m ready for a taste of something different!

Perfectly healthy response. So you either venture off on your own or you hire the neighbours teenager to “set you up”. WordPress.org is a free product. WordPress.com is also a free, open-source product and there are thousands of templates to choose from. You said you were ready for something different but how do you really get it? It’s close, you can start to feel it, but there is still something missing.

3.  Crazy Sexy Design

Now I’m talking a sexy, online presence; full-on, full-frontal, this is “awesome” experience! An online presence isn’t just about having a website. This isn’t a “build it and they will come” fairytale! This takes some serious grinding: talking to you about your dreams, how you want to showcase your business – the real you!

We just don’t leave you dangling like a pay-as-you-go web portal, we want you to be fully engaged. “Awesomesauce”, as Creative Director Indy would call it, includes exploring; social media, e-commerce, mobile apps, video and more. If you are still back at “I’m not sure”, let me tell you now, that will not take you to the next level; in fact it doesn’t take you anywhere!
