ASAP is poison, underdo the competition, meetings are toxic, fire the workaholics, emulate drug dealers, pick a fight, planning is guessing, inspiration is perishable.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I would have a boss who pretty much said those things to me and then handed me a book to read.

I had worked so hard towing the corporate line, trying to believe that happiness was found in my little grey cubicle emulating all the people who ran around trying to look important. I was almost lost to the brain washing and needed to snap out of it if I was going to be a part of the Indyzign Creative team. Part of my training came in a little book called “Rework”.

I think what blew my mind was the way they approach business.  This is definitely the new way to do business and does it ever make sense. They’ve created a product that works by breaking all the rules and they’re  making millions doing it.

What I’ve learned from this book is how to laugh at some of my old beliefs and actually excel in the business world while having fun. What a concept. If you want to be the best you can be in this crazy world, I would strongly recommend reading this book.
